Here’s a look at some of the fish hauled in the past week from the Colorado River at Bend. These were caught at the Colorado Bend State Park and artificial gigs in chartreuse, white and red & white seem to be the best thing to use. Minnows and nightcrawlers have also been used with good results as well. The white bass and crappie are in the beginning of their run and should be moving up to Sulpher Springs and Barefoot Fishing Camps soon as it appears to be a banner year for the bass run. If you’ve been feeling the fishing fever you need to quit wishing and go fishing, the Colorado River is the place to be. When you come out don’t forget to stop by Bad Bob’s Bend Store, we got everything you need….Almost! Bring us your stringer of fish and we’ll put your picture on the next report. Thanks for looking at our site and we hope to see you soon.
